    On leads, poop & scoop

    Dogs are welcome on the understanding that they have a child friendly temperament, they are kept on a lead at all times and owners religiously poop and scoop and put the waste in provided dog bins. Please see terms and conditions about banned dog breeds. We do uphold our dog rules.

    Campfires

    Allowed raised off grass

    Camp fires...an essential whilst camping! We even hire chimineas (subject to availability) However to prevent scorched grass, we ask they are 6" off the ground, using a board and bricks to protect the grass (we provide) . Empty cold ashes in the bin. Recycled washing up drums as camp fires are not welcome sorry.

    Cars

    On site in car park

    Cars allowed on the touring ring while pitching and taking down. 10mph limit. All other times they are parked in the onsite car park. 2nd cars are charged extra parked in an overflow car park 100yds away.

    Quietude

    After 10:30pm

    Quietude policy is upheld. Please choose a different campsite if you wish to party after 10.30

    Toilet & Showers

    Toilets & shower facilities – 24 hour open. Gents and ladies each have - 3 Hot showers and 4 flushing toilets. including 1 disabled toilet and bigger family shower room in gents and ladies. Hair dryer in the ladies (contribution requested) shaver socket in gents. Awarded Platinum status by Loo of the Year Scheme

    Electricity the hookups power are as advertised with the pitches, included is essential reasonable use - they do not include heavy wattage equipment and appliances use over long periods of time. The pitch fee never includes any vehicle charging provision.

    Check In

    3-6pm

    Check in - is 3pm to 6pm. During 6 weeks summer, Easter Fri/Sat and end May Whitsun school holidays we can accommodate by special prior arrangement up to 7pm check in. Outside of these times please ring before booking. Please see terms and conditions about very late arrivals and delays.

    Peak times

    Peak times a Farm Shop (late May Bank and 6 weeks school holidays) will sell essential produce, as much as possible all locally sourced. e.g. Bakery breads, cakes. Local butcher Dry cured bacon, steaks,sausages. Ice and ice creams. Fruit and veg. Wines and Cornish beers. Free Range eggs, sweets, marshmallows for camp fires.

    Holistic Yurt

    For treatments

    Treatments by a stream in a yurt. Available by appointment. Book via the Facilities Page. Adhoc sound bathing and yoga will be run during peak times.

    As part of our Eco ethos guests are expected to recycle - provision, glass, cardboard/plastic/cans, food waste. Respect each others needs and try to impart a minimal impact on our surroundings.

    In addition to the arty campsite atmosphere, crafts are held end of May & mid July -Aug. 2-3 times a week and adhoc during the camping season. No booking should be made conditional to a craft activity running, except a themed residential holiday.

    We are a family, couples site, we do not discriminate against quiet small groups but do require you to phone us and discuss your holiday plans. As many of our site restrictions may mean we do not suit majority single/mixed gender group gatherings.
