We spent a week on this site in our caravan and came away feeling very rested and chilled out. It is very quiet and everyone onsite was friendly, with the same approach to life.

Its close enough to newquay , but the real attraction in the day are the beautiful beaches and lovely cliff top walks with dramatic views.

There are bats around at night and you hear the owls calling, plus we had sunsets.

We have just returned from a lovely three day stay at Coastal Valley. What a fantastic hidden gem this place is!... It truly is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful coastline of Cornwall. Thank you Tanya and Andy for your wonderful hospitality. We will be back and many congratulations on your new grandchild.

Another lovely stay, thank you so much Tanya and Andy for making the site so Covid19 secure. Wildlife bonuses this time included hearing a nightjar on several occasions, barn owls screeching and hooting and flying displays by a number of bats.

Another fantastic week at Coastal Valley. One of the best campsites we have stayed at. We will definitely be going back. Quiet valley location next to a little stream which is perfect for the kids to go off and explore. Always a warm welcome from Andy and Tanya. The toilets and showers are spacious and spotlessly clean but we really appreciated all of the extra steps taken to keep everyone safe in light of COVID 19. So well organised. Well stocked shop for all of your essentials and the possibility of hiring a fire and buying wood. Food night several nights a week if you don’t feel like cooking.

Lovely week spent in the amazing Safari Tent! Tanya and Andy were really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a circular walk one day; we took a leisurely 2 hours to walk up a steep hill to the top of Porth, down to the beach, a stroll around Trevelgue Head then back to the campsite via Trevelgue Road. Lovely walk; needed to drive to the beach as we had lots of wetsuits/body boards and general paraphernalia which it would have been too difficult/too far to walk to the beach with. A lovely campsite, would thoroughly recommend.

Our favourite place! We visit a couple times a year and every time we leave with a big smile ? Tanya and Andy are fab and the facilities are always sparkling. Perfect for a chilled holiday or walking distance to two lovely beaches! Beautiful little stream running along the side of the site too ❤️

We have just got back from spending a lovely week here. The location is very tranquil and beautiful. The facilities are spotless and the owners could not be more friendly or helpful. We would not hesitate to come again.

We had a wonderful week with family and friends at this great location. It was our first time but will definitely return. Very chilled campsite, small and quiet and lovely setting. Hosts couldn’t be more helpful and make you feel at home. Highly recommended

I have just returned from a lovely break with my eldest son (7 years old) in a VW camper van. Great facilities with accessible electric hook up, shower facilities with a focus on environmental impact and a great little shared kitchen area which proved useful when trying to wash up ?. Other guests were really friendly and lots of conversation to be had, my son found a friend on site and explored the nearby woodland activity.
Looking forward to returning next year with a bigger group of family and friends.
The few days we spent on site really helped me unwind from work and create some good memories with my boy.
Thanks and look forward to returning soon

We have been three times now as a family of 11, we absolutely love this campsite. It’s the only place we will ever go.
The toilets are great, the food vans that come are perfect. We just love everything this campsite has to offer.

A lovely small peaceful campsite in a beautiful scenic valley location just what we needed after the long drive from Yorkshire!
Andy & Tanya are wonderful hosts, very friendly and always on hand should you need anything. They are completely committed to ensure you enjoy your stay.
Great to see the back to basics approach with the ability to have a camp fire and providing a wonderful little wild play area for the children by a shallow stream with rope swings and den making materials.
The onsite farm shop had the essentials and the option of ordering fresh bakery products for the next day. For a bigger shop there was a Londis 10-15min walk from the site or a Morrisons 10-15 min drive away.
Facilities were always clean with the added touch of fresh flowers in the ladies loo's, hairdryer which they asked for a donation for (blood bike charity) and all sorts of toiletries which you could use if you had forgotten yours. Similarly the communal kitchen had everything you could possibly wish for if you needed to wash up/cook away from your pitch.
The 10.30pm no noise policy (which is enforced!) was a god send for us, having visited many Haven sites where sleep was just impossible sometimes, we actually enjoyed a wonderful quiet nights sleep EVERY night!
The site is located close to several beaches, although these are up to or above an hours walk away depending which direction you choose to walk. If you are wanting a site with everything on your doorstep then this is not the site for you. However, if you enjoy a peaceful base and don't mind a walk or drive to the local beaches/eateries/shops then give this place a try, I doubt you will be disappointed!
Thank you Andy & Tanya for making our 1st visit to Cornwall one to remember, keep up the good work the site is a credit to you both. We will be back one day that is for certain

We have just returned from a holiday in the safari tent at Coastal Valley! It was fabulous. So spacious, incredible comfortable beds. Lovely ensure loo and shower at the back. It really had everything we needed. The log burner in the evening and fairy lights just added to the magic of the experience. Tanya and Andy were so chatty and helpful throughout our stay and a delicious welcome basket of cream tea was divine! Such a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. My in laws joined us for last two nights and with our 3 young children all fitted perfectly! Loved it! Thank you x

Having not been to cornwall in a long time we were a little unsure on which campsite to pick. I came across this gem on the Cool Camping website, and was immediately drawn to it. We originally chose a different site, but they couldn't fit us in, and I am so glad that they couldn't because we have fallen in love with this place!
From the moment we arrived I knew that this place was a bit special. Hidden away, nestled in a quiet valley, but only a short walk from the beach, beautifully natural and yet very well kept.
The owners Tanya and Andy were so lovely, and made us feel at home, regular popping by to say hi to everyone whilst doing their chores. Andy even cut a huge grass stick for my son because he heard him crying and played with him for a while which cheered him up no end!
They are a fountain of knowledge when it comes to places to visit, even the less 'touristy' places, and are great when it comes to suggestions for bad weather.
We had an amazing time, and will definitely go back when we next visit Cornwall. Thanks guys for an amazing stay!

Stayed four nights in June and had an absolutely lovely time, tucked away in the beautiful countryside with the sound of a running stream behind where I pitched my tent. Tanya and Andy were so friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure I had a lovely stay. Also met a great bunch of happy campers! Facilities were fab, nice and clean with the extra touches and it was also great to have access to a kitchen area, really handy! It was also great to be able to order bread, cakes and pasties from the local bakery. Will definitely be back if I am in the area again. A big thank you to Tanya and Andy.

We stayed here during half term with our toddler and it was perfect for a rustic family break but with enough facilities to make life for a busy family relaxed and enjoyable. We're used to camping but because we were attending a wedding we wanted a little bit of comfort and it was perfect. I have stayed in quite a few pods and this was by far the best, our travel cot fitted comfortably and it all the utensils required for self catering so no packing up of pots an pans etc! Because we have a dog we decided that I would stay with our toddler in the tent and my partner stayed outside in a pup tent with the dog. It worked really well because there is a huge outside area as well as a patio so lots of privacy and space for our little one to run around. And it was SUCH a luxury to have a bathroom. This is a perfect compromise for families, and lovely to be able to watch the chickens pottering around from your patio. I wouldn't hesitate to come back

Carolyn

Tanya and Andy are two of the friendliest, helpful and nice people you'd like to meet. Nothing is too much trouble and they make sure you have the best time. Great facilities - love the farm shop!
You feel like you're in another world at Coastal Valley - it has the best vibe. We stayed in the Airstream which was a phenomenal experience!

As I said to Tanya, I don't really want to tell anyone how good it is I want to keep it all to myself! We'll definitely be back, probably camping next time, but I will be staying in the safari hut before too long!!

Couldn't recommend it more.

Kate

Just wanted to (belatedly) say what a wonderful time we had at Coastal Valley Camp & Crafts over the Easter period. Thankyou so much. Normally a reluctant camper (!), I was pleasantly surprised at how luxurious our "glamping tent was" - so much space...and comfortable beds off the ground too! The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained and the kitchen, although fairly basic, had everything we needed. The location itself was oh so peaceful with its babbling brook, "fairy glen" and calming willow weaving; I felt like we were miles away from the rat race. Truly a little haven. I almost don't want others to find this little gem!

Sarah

The camp site is set back from the busy area of Watergate Bay, and Porth, but still accessible on foot. It was lovely and peaceful, and not too crowded, the pitches are very generous sizes allowing us to spread out, and the price was incredible! The owners, were really friendly, helping us out and giving us advice on where to visit in the area. The facilities were amazing, lovely hot showers, ideal after a day in the surf, and real fixtures and fittings, including a kitchen with large stoves for cooking breakfast, and a fridge freezer to store our food in - I've never had that at a camp site before! Use of the picnic tables was also a great touch, and that we could move the tables around the site rather than having to stay in one area with them. We camped but the site also has a safari tent and BBQ Lodge that look like great fun, so we'll be back to try those out for sure!

Disliked:
There was nothing to dislike, other than that we couldn't stay for another night!

Ian

Liked: The owners where very friendly and helpful even helped us repair our air bed, The site was very peaceful with the calming steam just behind us. All facilitys were clean and tidy, lovely hot showers definitly worth a visit. Thank you

Disliked: Nothing, all went very smooth
