Kept to a minimum as we understand no one wants lots of rules when on holiday. We ask you respect property and your neighbour, then EVERYONE gets to enjoy their break.

Site managers reserve the right to refuse access and enforce the rules.

As a guide please note the following.

Touring

  • 1 car per pitch. Cars are parked a few yards away from the tents, accessed by a flat track.
  • Pitch size a generous 8 metres wide.
  • This is a secluded valley and in consideration for the people camping around you, silence is held from 10:30pm until 8am. Family games and all conversations have to be so quiet they cannot be heard outside your pitch boundaries.
  • Please keep the facilities as clean as you find them.
  • All rubbish should be put in the bins provided and the pitch left as you found it.
  • Dogs are welcome on the touring ring but must be on a lead and under full control at all times when walking the site and restrained within the pitch boundary at all other times.
  • Communal Kitchen for the benefit of other holiday makers we request all pots and pans are all washed up immediately on finishing your meal. No cooking utensils or crockery should be taken to your tent. This is a complimentary facility and should be left completely tidy.
  • To minimise disruption to the neighbourhood we operate a traffic flow control: All visitors leaving have to leave by 11:00 am. All new arrivals have to book in between 3 and 6:00pm.

Safari Tents

  • No Smoking
  • No Dogs
  • Max 2 car allowance
  • Lighting is via Fairy lights, LED lights and a rechargeable LED lanterns.
  • Electric is in the Safari tent with a 16 amp fuse rating.
  • Cooking is via a portable 2x gas hob and grill or the wood burning stove oven for bigger items.
  • Massage Shower and hand basin have hot water provided by gas boiler
  • Flushing toilet
  • 1 Bath sheet per person booked
  • All bed linen, blankets, pillows, duvets are included
  • 2 Hand towels for the group are provided in the toilet
  • A 12v small coolbox fridge
  • Electricity within the tent is suitable for led lights and charging mobile phone etc.
  • Low powered curling tongues and hair dryers will be suitable.
  • Booking in is after 3:00pm on day of booking
  • Leave by 10:00am on morning of departure

Wooden Lodges

  • No Smoking
  • No Dogs
  • Max 1 car allowance, parked 30 yds from the BBQ lodge.
  • Lighting is via fairy lights and a rechargeable LED lanterns plus battery and wind up torches
  • Cooking is via the central BBQ. or 2 burner gas hob and grill.
  • Hand basin has hot water provided by gas boiler
  • A 12v coolbox fridge
  • 1 Bath sheet per person booked with a communal hand towel in bathroom
  • Extra blankets and pillows can be supplied.
  • Booking in is after 3:00pm on day of booking
  • Leave by 10:00am on morning of departure

Pre-pitched Tents

  • No Smoking
  • No Dogs
  • Max 2 car allowance
  • Lighting is via, rechargeable LED lanterns plus battery and wind up torches.
  • Each pre-pitched tent has an enclosed gazebo adjacent
  • Cooking is via a portable Gas hob and grill in gazebo,
  • Zipped storage units, a 12v coolbox fridge, prep table and a table and 6 chairs.
  • Crockery, cutlery, mugs all provided
  • We provide extra blankets and pillows, all you do is bring your sleeping bags and holiday gear!
  • No open flames allowed within the tent
  • 12v electricity within the tent suitable for led lights and charging mobile phone is available. (That means no hair dryers and curling tongues girls!)
  • Booking in is after 3:00pm on day of booking
  • Leave by 10:00am on morning of departure

Notes for all bookings

  • Limited electric is available on site! Most of it is 12v for the accommodation units. Coastal Valley staff will endeavour to accommodate requests made to recharge phones.
  • No bar or club room
  • No loud music at any time is allowed.
  • The valley is very quiet and campers like it like this
  • There is a 10mile speed limit on the site.
  • There is plenty of room for children to roam and play but parents please be aware there is a stream the whole length of the 6 acres. We request you familiarise yourself with this as some areas are deeper than others.
  • Limited room for children on bikes and playing ball around. There are lots of areas to explore and wild life to see
